CatholicCare Canberra & Goulburn AOD SUPPORT CONNECTIONS Program is a non-discriminatory, confidential, holistic, client-centred program which provides engagement and short-term case management support for people aged 16 years and over who are experiencing alcohol and other drug (AOD) issues. AOD SUPPORT CONNECTIONS is flexible in its scope and approach and can meet with clients at locations that suit them. The program seeks to connect clients to primary and allied health services, and other community and social supports so that individuals can make and maintain positive changes to their AOD use and increase their safety, wellbeing and health.
Referrals can be accepted from any person or agency so long as the client meets the eligibility criteria (see below). Clients may also self-refer to the program.
- Client is aged 16 years or over
- Client is experiencing issues relating to their use of alcohol and/or other drugs
- Client is not experiencing acute crisis – i.e. not actively suicidal or experiencing psychosis
Referrals and any questions about the program can be emailed to: firstname.lastname@example.org
CatholicCare is happy to organise to come out to any organisations to discuss the program and answer any questions at a convenient time. Please contact AOD Support Connections Case Workers Riddhi and Robyn on 6163 7600 or the above email.
