What is the IRIS Screen and Brief Intervention Project?
The IRIS Screen and Brief Intervention Project is:
- A culturally validated screening instrument; and.
- An early intervention tool that helps identify risks involving alcohol and other drug use and to manage its associated mental health issues affecting Indigenous Australians.
What are the workshop objectives?
To provide opportunities for participants:
- To work in partnership with the IRIS Project team to promote culturally competent practice which contributes to the improvement of health care service to Indigenous Australians across Australia.
- To contribute to the implementation of the IRIS Program nationally.
