Mental Health Week is an annual event celebrated in Australia and over 100 countries in an effort to raise community awareness and understanding of mental illness, reduce the stigma and discrimination associated with people living with mental illness, and promote positive mental health and wellbeing.
The theme for 2017 in the ACT is Stronger Together!
Mental illness is predicted to affect almost half of all Australians are some point during a person’s lifetime. It will affect people in different ways and this year we want to celebrate our diversity as a community.
