NGO health services funded by ACT Health are invited to attend the ‘NGO Health Sector meeting’ on Friday 5 May 2017.
On 16 December 2016 ACT Health hosted an Information Forum for ACT Health Non-Government Organisations. At this meeting the ‘Clinical Services Framework Fact Sheet’ was distributed outlining the process for the development of the Clinical Services Framework, including a series of timelines – one of which is the delivery of the Specialty Service Plans. We understand that the Clinical Services Framework and the Specialty Service Plans will be key documents which will inform the procurement of NGO health services going forward.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide an opportunity for representatives of ACT Health funded NGO health services to discuss the Clinical Services Framework, related issues of importance to our sectors and potential collaboration in engaging with these processes.
The meeting is open to Executive representation from all NGO health services funded by ACT Health. Ms Nicole Feely, Director-General, ACT Health and Executive representatives have been sent a letter of invitation and request to provide information at the meeting.
This meeting has been organised by the Alcohol Tobacco and Other Drugs, Blood-Borne Virus and Sexual Health NGO Sectors. We look forward to engaging with you about the development of the Clinical Services Framework, Specialty Service Plans and related procurement activities that are of interest to us all.
The NGO Health Sector meeting will be held on Friday 5 May 2017 from 9:30am – 11:30am at ANU Commons, Rimmer St. Please register for your attendance at the meeting here: https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/non-government-organisation-health-sector-meeting-tickets-33797097027.
