In therapeutic communities, the social environment, peer support and staff guide clients through the recovery process. WHOS Day Programs promote social inclusion by not only targeting a client’s AOD dependence, but also the underlying factors that have led to or may contribute to their substance use, such as mental health, crime and associated legal matters, accommodation, family, unemployment and other psychosocial issues.
