Members of ATODA have access to a range of supports and opportunities:

  • Opportunities to input into ATODA’s policy development to reduce alcohol, tobacco and other drug related harms in the ACT
  • Opportunities to input into submissions to ACT Government and Commonwealth Government inquiries and consultation processes
  • Opportunities to input into ATODA’s strategic planning
  • Opportunities to contribute to ATODA’s advocacy on members’ behalf to the ACT Government and Commonwealth Government on issues of concern for the ATOD sector and allied sectors
  • Participation in ATODA research projects as appropriate
  • Participation in training development projects
  • Access to ATOD Information and Harm Reduction training at discounted rates
  • Invitation to member forums and events to support networking and shared knowledge
  • Access to a monthly bulletin sharing relevant ATOD research for the ACT
  • Access to monthly bulletin sharing ATOD sector news, relevant publications, etc.
  • Opportunity to provide updates, job vacancies, etc. in the monthly sector bulletin (~800 subscribers)
  • Use of ATODA’s meeting room for up to 15 people, on half day per quarter not compounding
  • Participation and voting rights in ATODA’s General Meetings
  • Opportunities to nominate for appointment to ATODA’s Board (Full Organisational and Individual members only)
