Specialist Skills with 360Edge

Each year ATODA provides subsidised places for workers currently employed in the ACT ATOD sector in a variety of 360Edge courses and workshops . Enrolment is via the 360Edge website and requires a voucher code from ATODA to access a fee waiver available to ACT ATOD workers ONLY.

AOD Skillset
The AOD Skill Set Course is comprised of four core AOD-specific units from the Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drug Work. Upon successful completion of the AOD Skill Set, each worker will be provided with nationally-recognised Statements of Attainment.
ATODA subsidises the training fees for a limited number of places in the course with funding from ACT Health.

Certificate IV in AOD
The Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs is offered by a number of providers including CIT and TAFE. Fee-free places may be available. Please contact ATODA to discuss how you can access the Certificate IV as a requirement of the Qualifications Strategy.
First Aid Certificate
Maintaining a current Provide First Aid (Senior First Aid) certificate is a requirement of the Qualifications Strategy. On occasion, ATODA offers limited spaces in subsidised First Aid training for workers in the ACT ATOD sector. To enquire about enrolment, please contact ATODA.
Allied Sector Training
ATODA delivers alcohol, tobacco and other drug (ATOD) information and harm-reduction training to non-government organisations and government agencies in the ACT. Training is delivered by the Senior Training Specialist, and covers ATOD use data, trends and harm specific to the ACT context and other issues on request.
